The specter of North Korea hovered over U.S. congressional debate this week as President Barack Obama's top security aides sought authorization for what they said would be the limited use of force in Syria, arguing that failure to act would embolden Pyongyang and others,"North Korea is hoping for ambivalence from the Congress," Secretary of State John Kerry told the House Foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday.

Call of Duty disponible para iPhone, iPad y iPod Touch

Call of Duty: Strike Team, a diferencia del Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies que ya existía en la App Store, nos propone una historia ambientada en la América de 2020, la cual entrará en guerra ante el intento de ser invadida por diversos enemigos. Dicha historia la podemos jugar tanto en primera persona como en tercera, además de poder dirigir a nuestro ejército, personalizar sus armas... etc. Asimismo, podremos elegir entre el papel de soldado o de comandante.

Pero no es el único modo de juego que nos propone Call of Duty: Strike Team, sino que también cuenta con un modo de supervivencia. Este modo, para los que no hayáis jugado a Call of Duty en las videoconsolas, consiste en resistir oleadas de enemigos en un mapa concreto. Cada oleada, evidentemente, son más enemigos y de mayor dificultad, por lo que resulta todo un reto llegar a oleadas altas.

En el apartado gráfico, Call of Duty: Strike Team es uno de los mejores juegos que podemos encontrar para iOS, aunque diría que la última versión de Modern Combat le supera ligeramente en este aspecto.

Kim Dotcom steps down as Mega director

Dotcom confirmed Thursday that he resigned as a director of Mega at an August 29 board meeting. "Mega is in excellent hands," he tweeted. "I resigned as managing director to focus on my copyright case and a new political party."

Just a few days ago, Dotcom announced that he plans to launch a New Zealand political party to run an election campaign next year. He said that he has created a draft political program and is now looking for potential candidates willing to join him. The new organization does not yet have a name.

Under New Zealand's proportional voting system, the internet mogul needs to secure five percent of the vote to win representation in parliament. Once elected, Dotcom has promised to get New Zealanders a new submarine cable, fair internet pricing, and no more data caps.

Kim cannot be elected into parliament directly because he is a German national - so he instead plans to serve as the party’s president.

Toshiba desarrolla nueva criptografía cuántica a prueba de la NSA

Toshiba asegura estar trabajando en un nuevo sistema de criptografía cuántica, según aseguran, que servirá para proteger los datos e información de cualquier persona, desde un agente secreto de una oficina de inteligencia, un presidente de algún país (para evitar nuevos casos como el espionaje al presidente de México), o cualquier persona que desee privacidad absoluta de sus datos. ¿Acaso alguien no la desea?

La criptografía cuántica, como su nombre lo indica, hace uso de la física cuántica para prometer que la información enviada desde un punto "A" llegue a un punto "B" sin posibilidad de ser interceptada, ni siquiera por la NSA, MI-6, KGB, o cualquier agente secreto de película, o agente externo. La teoría indica que nadie puede interceptar o intentar modificar un sistema cuántico sin perturbarlo, lo que dejaría evidencia clara de la filtración, o quizás destruiría la información en el proceso, algo que es parte de los propósitos de los investigadores de Toshiba.

The UN inspectors “There will be no disclosure of the preliminary findings”

The UN inspectors will not reveal the preliminary results of the probe into alleged chemical weapons use in Syria on August 21 near Damascus until the probe is completed.

European Council President Herman van Rompuy said earlier on Thursday he expected the UN Secretary General to share the tentative findings of the UN chemical weapons inspectors on the sidelines of the G20 summit.
